"Selda was an absolute gem! She is so knowledgeable and showed us such cool places in Kanazawa. We change our accommodations at the last minute and she had no problem be flexible and changing the order so that it made the most sense to see the most stuff we could in a day. We had a 16 month old with us and she was so kind and friendly and patient with her and adapted the tour as needed to avoid any meltdowns. Selda was so friendly and fun to tour the city with. We were in japan 2 weeks and the day we spent with Selda was by far our favorite! I would highly recommend anybody wanting to see Kanazawa do a tour with Selda💕"

Exploring Kanazawa with Selda
"Our group of 6 adults from Vancouver Canada, had a wonderful morning exploring the historic Samurai and Geisha areas of Kanazawa. Selda was the perfect guide. She shared the history of each area, what daily life would have been like and answered all of our questions. Selda also took us through the gold leaf process and treated us to a couple of the region specialty foods. She finished off the day with some recommendations for eating & shopping!
Highly recommend Selda as a local guide for a very enjoyable day. "

"Lucy was very accommodating of our young family and tailored the experience so all of us had things to look forwards to. The gold leaf workshop was fun for us as well as eating gold leaf ice cream from the shop it was invented! The historical districts were amazing. We really appreciated Lucy’s time and efforts with our family."

"We wanted to know more about Samarai, Geisha's and the history of Japan during the Edo period, and Raphael was a wealth of knowledge as we toured the Samarai District. He also cheerfully answered all of our questions about everyday life in today's Japan. And showed us where to find the best coffee in Kanazawa! I would highly recommend Raphael if you want an informative tour."

"We had only 2 days in Kanazawa and booked Raphaël on a whim and I’m so glad we did. Raphaël took our requests seriously and filled our 3-hour tour with all things we wanted to see and do. He has a vast knowledge of Kanazawa and was able to answer most of our (many) questions. And if he didn’t know something, you knew he was going to look it up later for the next tour.
Raphaël took us to the quieter parts of town and stopped by local artisan shops at my request. While Raphaël is not from Japan, you could tell how much he respects the culture and wants to learn as much about it as he can. At the end of the day, I would recommend Raphaël as a tour guide to anyone and wish we had more time with him. "
