"We had a super experience from the moment we booked the tour! My husband and I traveled to Paris with my seventy-nine-year-old father, who had never before visited the city. We opted for the five-hour "Full Coverage Paris City Tour" with Maxime. It was our first With Locals experience, and it was fantastic!
When we made the booking, we designated some specific interests and also had a logistical question about an evening event after the tour. Maxime sent a friendly response and even helped us manage some of the details of the evening event. I was amazed by and grateful for the extra help.
On the day of the tour itself, Maxime met with us at the designated time and place. During the tour, he shared with us a wealth of information about many different aspects of Paris, and he often focused on details that were of particular interest to us. He showed us layers of the city's history as we walked through different neighborhoods and stopped at various sites. He indicated good restaurants, bars, bakeries, and shops for us to check out on our own. He also gave us some insight into what it is like to live in Paris today. Plus, he calmly made adjustments to our itinerary as our circumstances required.
We found it exciting to be with a tour guide who seems to be learning new things all the time. Maxime showed us books that he is reading to deepen and expand his knowledge of the city. He also shared with us that he continues to observe the city in order to see familiar sites anew and otherwise add to his extensive knowledge. "
"We selected a 5-hour tour of Paris as we were only there for 12 hours. Once Gelsomina learned that we had one day in town, she did everything in her power to show us everything! The entire tour was wonderful! We started in Notre Dame then explored the Latin Quarter. We meandered through the streets of Paris while Gelsomina explained the history and architecture of the surroundings. We learned SO much! We made it all the way from Notre Dame to the Arc de Triomphe (which was about 12 miles of walking)! She gave us great directions of how to get to the Eiffel Tower using the metro and we made it there as well. Gelsomina is an educator who enjoys showing off her city. My family (me, my wife, and my two teenagers) loved the entire trip!"

Awesome tour with Nella.
"Nella was a very nice and knowledgeable tour guide. She gave us a very personable tour and took us to a perfect French restaurant that only two other tables were occupied. We told her we didn't want a very touristic spot nor loud place to eat. The restaurant was perfect. She also took us to two French pastry shops so my husband could satisfy his sweet tooth. They were amazing. We would highly recommend Nella."
"Isabel clearly knows the area and was able to tailor a tour to suit our three young kids. We stopped at a 300 year old bakery and a chocolate shop, and made games of walking the steps up to Sacré Coeur. Isabel was very patient with our kids and we enjoyed our time with her."
