"We had an absolutely brilliant tour with Anna. We had been to Paris several times but never really spent much time in Montmatre (other than a brief visit to the Sacre Couer). Anna gave us a truly fantastic tour of the area. We learned so much, but were never overwhelmed. We saw a house Van Gogh lived in, a vineyard, restaurants and squares that had appeared in some of the great impressionist paintings and the Sacre Couer itself. Anna was constantly informative but also very patient and engaging. My twins are very into John Wick at the moment and Anna had also seen the most recent movie which is set in Paris - and was able to point them to areas which were used as scenes in the films. Anna was lovely company throughout. We could not have asked for more. "

She chose the best places in the area for each tasting and knew all of the owners of the establishments. The tour was not only full of good food, but we also learned the history of the area. "Our tour was at the end of our stay in Paris, so we had pretty much covered the expected sites. We left it to Anukool to show us whatever he liked and it did not disappoint. The Passages were particularly interesting and beautiful and loved seeing one of the oldest book stores in Paris. Since 10 tastings can be a lot, he helped us pack the leftovers for us to enjoy in the evening. To top it all off, Anukool spoke Hindi which made my parents feel completely at ease from the start. "Anukool was a terrific host/guide. Our adventure started with a lost phone and he helped us to communicate with the driver, since our French was limited. Our tour started at this well known bakery, where we enjoyed a sweet treat and a coffee. We then stopped at a cute market, where we were able to sample cheeses, tapenades and breads. From there we had a scrumptious dessert and then went to an establishment where we tried local meats alomg with a cocktail. Anukool's knowledge of the area and foods were vast and thoroughly enjoyed our tour!"
