"We had a wonderful tour of St Clement’s Bascilica and the Colosseum with Barbara. She has a broad knowledge of the history of Rome and the details of the buildings we visited. As a trained architect she shared interesting facts about construction methods and materials, both during the imperial period thru the Middle Ages to the present day restoration efforts. "Alright, this was a fantastic tour! Simone quickly made my wife and I feel like we had reconnected with an old friend and was showing us his town! As we walked through the less traveled back alleys of Rome walking through open doors he was able to show us some great hidden spots for food, architecture and history! Places we had already walked by but didn't have any idea what was beneath our feet! We had so much fun and chatted with him the whole time.
