"We just finished our food tour with Emre and I have to say it was the highlight of our trip!! Emre was so knowledgeable with not only food and culture but also architecture and the history of the city. He took us on an amazingly well rounded tour with so many stops - every bite was unique and delicious and only places locals frequent. He was also super knowledgeable with souvenir shopping - he led us to an amazing spice vendor and sweets shop and also helped us find unique Turkish shirts for our children. We also had the best kebabs of our visit - where the locals frequent and made famous by A. Bourdain. Emre took his time - we never felt rushed and he texted us addresses of every place so we could return to for seconds!! He felt like a good friend by the end. Thank you Emre for introducing us to some of the best food in Istanbul and giving us a sense of what living in this beautiful city is like! "We booked an all day outing with Oguz and were not disappointed. Oguz was right on time at our planned meeting spot. All along the way he was informative and accommodating. Oguz kept a casual pace and we never felt rushed, although we packed in a lot. We toured the Hagia Sophia Mosque, strolled through the old Hippodrome, skipped the crowded Basilica Cistern and instead had an exclusive intro to the 2nd largest Birbindirek, the Grand Bazaar with a rest stop for tea, Suleymaniye Mosque, Spice Bazaar with a Turkish Delight tasting, the tram to Balat neighborhood with a hike up the hill, and finally a ferry ride across the Bosphorus! It was a fantastic day. Highly recommended Oguz as a guide."
