"Mohamed was so friendly and welcoming. We wanted a more customised tour to see some authentic off the beaten path places like markets and talk to locals and Mohamed took us to some great places where we were able to see local life. He also took us to some of his favourite places to eat and introduced us to Egyptian food. "Abdallah was an amazing guide and very intuitive. I had let him know I was really interested in knowing more about the art and architecture in Cairo. I loved every minute exploring downtown, mosques, marketplaces, sipping tea and getting a deeper understanding of Arabic time periods, evolving architectural and artistic styles. He wove the ancient, contemporary and Ottoman ages together - seeing how all are still dialoguing today through the many layers of Cairo. We had incredible conversation well into the evening - when the market lit up like a rainbow and the whole area became even more magical.
