"My 19 year old son and I had a wonderful day with Moustafa! He took us to the Pyramids first, where our “off the beaten track” tour had us walking through ruins by ourselves to a hidden tomb with fabulous paintings and hieroglyphics!
When our pyramid tour was over, we went on a local tasting tour where we had delicious food and learned all about Egyptian culture past and present. Moustafa was a terrific host!

Where History Meets Personal Touch
"Moustafa delivered a true 10/10 experience, if you’re looking for a tour that goes beyond the basics, he brings history to life with rich detail, engaging stories, and a depth of knowledge that kept things interesting. He tailored the entire experience to us, making it feel personal rather than scripted, and struck the perfect balance between education and enjoyment. On top of that, he went out of his way to capture great photos and even came up with some fun, creative shot ideas that made the day even more memorable. Highly recommend if you want something both insightful and genuinely enjoyable."
"I had 4 days to spend in Cairo and the day I spent with Moustafa was the best out of the 4.
Moustafa completely gave us what we asked for, a tailor made day working around what we wanted to do. We wanted tour the Pyramids and have an authentic Egyptian experience seeing the old town, try their food and visit important historical building and that is exactly what we got.
He is passionate and really cares that we have the best time. Felt like we we're getting treated like family and felt safe as he is well respected everywhere we went.
Couldn't thank him enough for the experience he gave us. He truly goes beyond what you pay for. He's amazing enthusiastic captivating happy attitude kept us alive living in the moment the whole day, it allowed our imagination run free.
We plan to come back to Cairo someday and will be giving him a call."
"Had a great experience with Moustafa on this Saqqara tour. Lot of explanations and discussions. Good tips for avoiding some of the crowds. Also some access to great more private tombs. Definitely to be recommended"

Giza & Saqqara Done Right
"I don’t even know where to begin. Our tour of the Giza Pyramids and Saqqara was one of the most powerful experiences of my life.
Moustafa is the kind of guide you hope for but rarely get. He is deeply passionate about Egypt — not just the history, but the culture, the people, the energy of the place. He has the perfect balance of book smarts and street smarts. You’re not just getting memorized facts (though he clearly knows everything); you’re getting context, stories, nuance, and the kind of insight that only someone who truly knows the city can give.
Because he knows Cairo and Giza so well — and because he knows the people — you feel welcomed everywhere you go. You feel safe. You feel looked after. You feel like you’re experiencing Egypt with a friend, not just following a tour guide with a flag.
Standing in front of the pyramids was overwhelming in the best way. It’s one thing to see something you’ve known your whole life from textbooks and documentaries… it’s another thing entirely to stand there and feel the weight of thousands of years of history in front of you. Visiting Saqqara and seeing the Step Pyramid added such depth to the experience and made the evolution of these incredible structures make sense.
I cannot recommend this tour enough. If you’re going to see the pyramids, do it with someone who loves this country the way Moustafa does. It makes all the difference."
"I’m a woman traveling alone for business, and know virtually nothing about this region. Was nervous to do touristy things alone, and connected with Moustafa — it was absolutely fantastic! He gave me a unique and unforgettable tour of Giza pyramid area, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and the Bazaar, with multiple stops off the beaten path, and helped me find a perfect gift for my mom. He even helped me know how much to tip, haggled for me, caught my phone before it was smashed by an camel, and helped me figure out how to wrap a scarf. He also is a great photographer!
His passion for ancient Egypt was palpable and his kindness put me completely at ease, and everywhere we went, people greeted him with warmth and respect. Could not recommend him more."

Book with confidence Ramses is the best
"I booked Ramesis based on his really good reviews online, and he really lives up to it. Excellent knowledge, lovely character and exceptional hospitality, he brings out the best of the lovely Egyptian people. Please book with confidence "
"For anyone heading to Egypt, whether it’s your first visit or returning, do yourself a favor and book Moustafa. No need to look further. He completely enhanced our experience, and the day we spent with him was easily the best day of our entire trip.
Moustafa is the real deal. He makes you feel instantly comfortable and taken care of. He’s warmly kind-hearted, funny, on-time and beyond knowledgeable about everything from ancient mythology to modern politics, and everything in between. He is the best of local experts who listens, connects, and tailors the experience to you.
In Egypt, we learned that accessing the best locations (and often safety) depend who you’re with. And Moustafa knows everyone. Whether it was getting into the most iconic sites with zero hassle, avoiding tourist traps, or just feeling safe and respected in every interaction—we had that because of him. The locals clearly know and respect him, and that respect extended to us in ways we didn’t expect but really appreciated.
On top of all that, he knows where to find truly the best photos, better than you’d dream of. And the best Egyptian food! Everything was clear, transparently priced, and flexible. No pressure, just good energy.
He’s also an amazing storyteller. He brought ancient Egypt to life in a way that felt personal and relevant, with connections to world history that made us see things differently. He clearly loves what he does, and you can feel his passion.
We cannot recommend Moustafa strongly enough. Plus, a special thanks to our excellent and friendly driver who took care of us from the very beginning to the very end of the tour!
Thank you again Moustafa for an unforgettable day."
"Ramses is as good of a tour guide as you will find. First, he knows his stuff. But that’s the bare minimum needed.
Our two day tour took into account our family’s needs and desires and made it personal to us. Last minute change, no problem - he adapted. We want to get street food, no problem, he took us to a a great spot.
The van was always stocked with water and snacks. And we ended the trip having made a new friend. If you’re in Cairo, he will 100% take care of your family’s needs. "
