"Ae did a fantastic job of providing a tailored experience, showing the main historical sites in the old city, and then introducing some interesting places outside the old city, including a walking canal, one of the most famous Khao Soi places in CM, and the wholesale produce market. "We read the guide LLP reviews beforehand and believed that Boy would be the best fit for a half-day walking tour around Chiang Mai — and this turned out to be absolutely true. Boy was engaging, interesting, and extremely knowledgeable about the city and its history. The tour gave us a real feel for Chiang Mai and its culture, helped by the fact that we explored the area on foot at a relaxed, gentle pace — more of an amble than a walk, and not strenuous at all. We visited several smaller local temples as well as the main central temple at Wat Chedi Luang, along with key landmarks including the Three Kings Monument, Wat Inthakhin Sadue, and Wat Tung Yu. Along the way, Boy shared fascinating insights and stories that brought the city to life. The tour also included a stop at a local market for refreshments, which was a lovely touch and added to the authentic experience. We came away feeling happy, informed, and genuinely connected to Chiang Mai. We would highly recommend Boy to anyone looking for an insightful, well-paced, and enjoyable half-day tour of the city. "

"The guide, Purichat who is also known as May, was a superb guide. She accommodated to our requests and ensured that the food was not overly spicy as we have children who is not able to take dishes that are too spicy. She shared Chiang Mai history and characteristic dishes found here."

We started at a temple which was an added bonus, as we got to hang a lantern and make an offering with water - things we wouldn’t have done on our own.
