He drived us arround with his SUV and showed us the highlights of Musqat and explained us all about the history. His English is very good making it easy to talk with him. "Even though we booked “Jebel Akhdar Day Trip,” Yousuf accommodated our wishes and drove us to the canyon. He took us to explore Jebel Shams, and it was absolutely amazing! The drive through the mountains was stunning — every turn revealed another incredible view. The walk through the canyon was definitely the highlight: breathtaking scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and Yousuf’s great stories about the area made it really special. We finished the day at the old village od Misfat al Abriyyin endulging arabic coffee with dates and stunning views. Yousuf was friendly, easygoing, and full of knowledge, making the whole day feel relaxed and orchestrated according to our wishes. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more beautiful experience. Highly recommended!"

"We have used With Locals in Rome and Athens, and they do not disappoint! So it was a given that we booked our tour of Muscat city, a fascinating place. Nasser picked us up and we drove around this fabulous clean, well laid out city, visiting the Sultan grand mosque, which was incredible and well worth a visit! The lovely staff helped me with fitting my Abaya (dress) and lihaf (headscarf) , which I hired as dress ettiequte is a must for woman and men (long pants, long sleeve shirt) in Oman and of course, should be respected. We visited the local fish market and grocery market in Matrah, the Matrah Souq (market - buy your tee shirts in here not outside on street - better pricing), old Muscat where you will stop at the Sultan's palace and the Portuguese Fort from outside. We choose not to go into either the Royal Opera House or Museum (due to travel tiredness). Nasser took us to a lovely local restaurant, Ramssa, the Omani food was really good. Nasser took time to explain and answer any of our many questions about Muscat. Great tour, thoroughly enjoyed the content and of course our lovely Guide."
