The Tour with Kuni Was Great
"Kuni met us at our hotel and our first stop was his restuarant for an excellent beef tasting. He had us try some local street food after and gave us a tour of dontonburi along the way to getting tempura and sake. He answered my questions along the way and my wife and I had a great time. We hit the jackpot!
"We really felt like we hit the jackpot with Kuni. Not only does he have his own restaurant in Osaka, but he knew all the places to go based on our personal wants/needs. We’ve noticed as Americans traveling in Japan, it is hard to know exactly where to go, how to get in, and how to make reservations. Kuni walked us in everywhere with ease. He also taught us some local lingo and gave us some history of the area. "RobAbout local KuniyoshiOsaka, September 2023
Very pleasant nighttime walk around Osaka
"Naoki was a very engaging guide who took us on a lovely nighttime tour of Osaka. He patiently answered all our questions and took us to a couple of great local restaurants to sample the city’s special cuisine. Highly recommended!"MartaAbout local NaokiOsaka, August 2023
Great Guide and Tour
"Naoki listened to what interested us and customised the tour accordingly. He was very attentive friendly and courteous. He told us about Osaka, it’s history and customs and shared with us the culture of Japanese people and especially Osakens. As we love local food, he took us to two of his local haunts. This was one of the best tours we had."YehuditAbout local NaokiOsaka, August 2023

Hector: Osaka's Unforgettable Guide
" I can't help but elaborate more on the incredible things that Hector did to make our Osaka tour absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we met him, it was evident that he was determined to provide a personalized experience that suited our preferences perfectly. Hector's thoughtfulness and generosity truly stood out. He surprised us with little souvenirs throughout the tour, ensuring we had mementos to remember our time in Osaka. But it didn't stop there. He even went as far as covering some of our train ride tickets, relieving us of any financial burden and allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. What truly amazed us was Hector's unwavering dedication to showing us everything Osaka had to offer. He went above and beyond the call of duty, extending the tour hours to ensure we didn't miss out on any of the city's hidden treasures. His passion for sharing the best of Osaka was contagious and it made our journey all the more thrilling. Transportation logistics can often be a hassle when exploring a new city, but Hector took charge and made sure we never had to worry about catching our next mode of transport. He was meticulous in ensuring we reached our designated transportation on time, allowing us to seamlessly continue our adventure without any stress or delays. Hector's energy was infectious, and it was clear that he had our best interests at heart. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he made it his mission to educate us about the fascinating details and history of Osaka. From local legends to architectural wonders, he shared insights that we would have never discovered on our own. But what truly set Hector apart was his genuine care for our experience. From the very beginning, he reassured us that time constraints were not a concern. He encouraged us to take our time, explore at our own pace, and see everything we wanted, even if it meant exceeding our scheduled time slot. This level of flexibility and understanding made us feel valued as his guests and allowed us to savor every moment of our tour. In Hector, we found a tour guide who was not only sincere and kind but also took immense pride in showcasing the best of Osaka. His dedication and passion were evident in every interaction, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide to lead us through the vibrant streets of Osaka."NathanielAbout local HECTOR JULIOOsaka, June 2023
Very nice tour
"We booked the sake tour with guide Mako and we had a very great time. We learned a lot about sake and we tried several different flavours. Mako was a very nice guide and when you are in Kyoto you defenitly should book this tour with her"PeterAbout local MakoOsaka, May 2023
"I'd give Ollie 5/5 stars. He was a super friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. He adapted the walking tour to our interests - bringing us to a bamboo garden in a beautiful fall forest when we told him we like nature and also to a building with walls covered in murals when I told him I'm a painter. The "Tom Cruise" steps aka the steps Tom Cruise walked up in the last Samurai was a cool spot to see too. I am also thankful to Ollie for knowing of a delicious vegan noodle restaurant and ending the walking tour at that location so we could grab lunch. It was one of our favorite meals that we had in Japan."MerielleAbout local OllieOsaka, February 2023
Great day urban hiking Kyoto!
"Thanks Ollie for a fun, informative, and spirited hike about Kyoto! There is so much to see. I started with the Arishiyama temple tours, fabulous! You’ll enjoy Kyoto even more with a local tour to get oriented and a flavor for what this ancient city has to offer. And you will find Ollie is a professional, friendly, and experienced tour guide. Thx Ollie!"JayAbout local OllieOsaka, July 2022
Off the Charts!!
"Our family did a Sake Tasting with Yoshie. What a great person!! She was so knowledge on the subject. We visited the sake brewery, Gekkeikan where we earned about the process of making Sake. There we also tasted 3 different varieties they make. Then afterwards, she took us to a place where we were actually able to taste a large variety of sakes. We did 5 flights of sake that each had 3 different sakes. It made it much easier to understand the different varieties. Yoshie is a wonderful person - so much fun! Can't say enough nice things about her. She was able to give us ideas of where to eat lunch beforehand in that area and made sure that we were on the right train back into Kyoto. You won't be disappointed."kellyAbout local YoshieOsaka, January 2020
