The other is that you actually get to know a person who lives in the place you’re visiting. Darko was terrific. It was a pleasure getting to know him and learn about the history of the country and what life in Croatia is like- through the eyes and experience of a local person. I have don’t a lot of food tour throughout the world and I always hope I will get shown food I otherwise would not get in my own. And this is exactly what we got! We were given a variety of foods and enjoyed them all a lot.
I would defiantly recommend this tour guide for anyone who wants to knowledgeable guide of the city and going to show you great food.
She also gave us restaurant recommendations for a couple other city’s we were visiting and all the places we went were amazing!

Excellent food selections and friendly!
"Dubravka is friendly, knowledgeable about the area and made my husband and I feel like we were walking around the city with a friend. The food choices were a wide selection of places from savory meats to sweet snacks. She was open to changes on foods to accommodate allergies or preferences. Highly recommend doing this tour in the beginning of your trip to learn the city a little and see a variety of places you may not know or try on a first or second visit to Split. Arrive hungry! "
