"We had a really enjoyable walking tour of Brooklyn with Laura. Laura took us through DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights, but also showed us quieter streets and local corners we wouldn’t have found on our own. It felt personal and relaxed, not rushed or overly touristy. We got a nice mix of history, stories, and everyday neighborhood life. Definitely recommend if you want to see a more authentic side of Brooklyn!"

"I went on a tour with Jordan along with three other people, and all of us had somewhat different ideas of what we wanted to see, but that was simply no problem for Jordan. He made sure each of us found something interesting everywhere he took us! Even at the beginning when we first met, I was quite nervous, so I accidentally kept shutting down the conversation, but Jordan continued being kind and talking with me anyway. He took us everywhere, but the best part was how thoughtfully he kept checking in with us to see whether we wanted to continue walking or stop and explore a certain area instead of going farther out. Lastly, I wanted to add that it is so clear Jordan loves New York, and that enthusiasm really rubs off on you, which is amazing! I have so much pride in my own home state and usually think my home is the best, but hearing Jordan talk about New York was amazing. "Jordan guided us through a deep dive into the West Village and its history as a completely singular neighborhood (*his* neighborhood!). We got the granular details as well as big picture context (northward movement of the wealthy, deliberate architectural changes to buildings to attract artists--imagine that happening today!--the role of neighborhood activists, and the rural past explaining the ungridlike configuration of many streets). He was kind enough to incorporate a couple of midtown things I'd requested, a particular mural in Grand Central, and the glorious Chrysler Building, before delivering us to the madhouse of the theater district for our matinee. The tour was over too soon--highly recommended!"
