"Laos's clear and lively description of the Mexicas' (Aztec's) building of a great city on a lake seven hundred years ago, is a fascinating and absorbing. The way he took us around key spots in the Centro Historico of Mexico City, gave us a delightful impressionistic understanding of CDMX from 1320 to the present. He gave us a precis at each stop that covered the arts, the government, the politics, the customs, the economy, the industry, the great characters, the religion, and the struggles and civil wars within the city. Laos has an abundance of knowledge that he is delighted to share. He also has a fine sense of humor and he's also a really nice guy."
