Agi and I have been cruising the Mediterranean for the last 8 days and our day with Gennaro was our most memorable, enjoyable and informative yet. Gennaro was so kind to reach out in the days before our arrival and he was instrumental in providing directions to the meeting place to two bumbling tourists. The actual tasting was beyond our expectations as it was just us and him. He spent a good amount of time at each stop and educated us as well as entertained. We learned that Napoli has become a top destination since COVID. We learned that each region and every 20 miles there is a different traditional cuisine. He taught us the correct way to eat pizza…I definitely need to practice. I had real espresso “chocolate” for the first time and had “Mozzarella di Bufala Campania DOP”. The best we’ve ever had and apparently will never have again as it only exists on the day it was made. Many thanks to Gennaro for our best memories this trip.
