"Palermo is so rich in history, culture, architecture, and change I couldn’t imagine visiting without learning first from Salvatore. He was very knowledgeable and full of great stories which brought things alive and made them meaningful. We asked to see a mural that was not on the typical tour, and he adjusted without hesitation then told a deeper story about it. He is friendly, easy to walk and talk with. "We met with Dario on our first night in Palermo for a "Drinks and Bites" in Palermo walking tour. Dario took us first to a great spot that provided a delicious assortment of appetizers, with the arincina being my personal favorite. Over appetizers and a great aperol spritz, he talked about Palermo and gave us insite into the history of the city and other assorted Sicily topics. Conversation with Dario was very easy. We went to a second location on a fun street full of restaurant and pubs. This location was one we had previously passed by on an earlier walk and we made note that we wanted to check it out...so it was perfect that we ended up there! More snacks were provided, unfortunately we were so full by this point we couldn't eat them all, and we shared a nice bottle of white wine. At the end of the evening, he pointed us in the direction of some nice pubs. He was a great guide! We ended the evening with a night cap at one of the pubs along the way. Palermo has a great nightlife, we loved the whole evening! I highly recommend this tour and Dario!"

"This guided tour was such a great way to unlock a new, more informed look at Palermo and its rich history. Salvatore was very friendly and knowledgeable about his home town. He explained the city's layout and architecture from a historical perspective, which all makes sense as you wander through the different areas on your own later. He also surprised us with some interesting details that we had literally walked straight past earlier because we didn't know about them. As this is a private tour it makes for a more personal and tailored experience, and you can stand close enough to hear each other speak (Palermo is not a quiet city!). At the end of our stay in Palermo, I asked my family about their highlights of the week, and everyone agreed Salvatore's tour came out on top.
