Reviews from guests about our tours and locals
"Ines was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. She accommodated our family throughout the day (pace, breaks, etc) and bonded quickly and effortlessly with our son. Our tour with ines provided an amazing experience for our first time in BA. "
"My family and I visited Buenos Aires for the first time so we were looking forward to this food tour to get a sense of the city and Argentinian culture. Rosana was a wealth of knowledge. We were expecting just a food tour where the conversation would be all around food, but with Rosana we got to learn about many aspects of Argentina's history. We could ask her about anything and she would share her perspective as a local. So it was a great experience overall to eat and have a guide who could teach us much more about Argentina. The food was decent, we went to 4 spots that were frequented by locals. We were happy with the chance to eat and experience life in Buenos Aires like a local. Outside of the tour, Rosana was also very helpful in providing restaurant recommendations and making reservations at Don Julio when we weren't getting any response from the restaurant ourselves. We're grateful that she went out of the way to do this eventhough it wasn't strictly part of the tour. Thanks for a lovely experience!"
"Maggie was outstanding and by the end we were like old friends….almost family. She loves her city and she loves sharing it with others. The food was amazing and bountiful. Be ready to pace yourself. We had pizza, barbecue, Revuelto de gramajo (pay potatoes with eggs ham and chives), Matambrito relleno con ensalada rusa (stuffed beef skirt with Russian salad), Aarincini with Lincoln cheese and mushrooms, Buñuelos de espinaca (spinach fritter), Milanesa a caballo con fritas (Argentinian schnitzel with egg on top and fries), and Berenjenas al escabeche (pickled eggplant) Thank you Maggie! You were outstanding. "
"This tour met and exceeded all our expectations. Rosana is a great guide, strong personality and open to discuss any topic. We had a tour the day before with Ines and Rosana contacted her to make sure there was no overlap. So we discovered indeed a lot of other nice places but also some beautiful hidden gems that you would easily overlook when using any tourist book. We also learned a lot about the history of Buenos Aires and Argentina, the daily living of people and the challenges they face. Definitely appreciated our open discussions about politics, health care, education and economics. She even thought about some small details: e.g. leading us to some shadow places (it was 32 degrees) before explaining anything or having a cold drink half-way the tour. When visiting Buenos Aires ask for a tour with Rosana, you will not be disappointed. Danny & Ann "

"Ines is a charming and knowledgeable guide. Our group had different ideas about what our tour comprised. The women wanted a more relaxed walk and although we walked and saw the usual sites with explanation, she also talked about the life in Argentina. We took 2 snack and drink breaks, all at our requests, and we particularly enjoyed those times sitting at an indoor and outdoor cafe. She is gracious and fun to be with. We did go over the allotted time but she had no problem extending our time. She rejected our payment for the extended time. I hope she does not mind us saying, she is more beautiful than her picture in the profile. "
"We had such a cool few hours with Jose. Should have been 2.5 hours but Jose didn't let that get in the way and stayed with us much longer. Cycling is a perfect way to see so much more of the city. Jose took us to places we wouldn't have found making it interesting and safe. Nothing was too much trouble. I lost my rucksack and he went to great lengths to make sure I got it back. What a guy. He is knowledgeable and passionate about BA and his enthusiasm is infectious. Cannot recommend him highly enough. Do it. You'll love it."
"Absolutely brilliant experience, Pablo was the perfect guide, he was knowledgeable, outgoing and friendly and he 'made' our visit to Buenos Aires. We appreciated how he took the time to show us many hidden gems, from Architectural highlights to the social and cultural areas of the city. We both feel he went out of his way to make the experience very special and he tailored our tour of the city encompassing everything we wanted to see and experience. Sadly, the queues to see Eva Peron's tomb were excessive, not Pablo's fault. To have someone like Pablo at your side makes experiencing a city so unique and memorable."
"It was great tour…thanks a lot. We visited popular and hidden places from the view of a real local. We got super insides from Jose. We enjoyed so much and felt the passion and enthusiasm about Buenos Aires "
"Since our Food Tour was on Sunday, we sent a note to Rosana a few months in advance, asking if she could include a visit to the San Telmo market. She agreed immediately, suggesting we meet her there an hour earlier. We would have been overwhelmed on our own. We had a mate demo and tasting and even shopped. Then, into a taxi for our terrific tastings in thd Theatre District, always in a relaxed atmosphere, with wine and beer. The food was delish and lots of it, finishing at a European Stlye Tea Room for coffee and pastry. We talked non stop and Rosana shared her take on the city and Argentina's history. She is awesome! Lots of shopping tips, ate all the typical local dishes and had lots of fun. Thank you, Rosana! The best first day in BA ever! "
