Outstanding walking tour with Veronica
"Last weekend, we arrived in Buenos Aires a few days before our Antarctica cruise. Since we have never visited BA, I decided to use WithLocals, as I have done on numerous occasions, to book an overview tour with a local guide, so that we would have a basic idea of the city and what we might want to do for the remainder of our time there. Choosing Veronica was a great decision. She was a true Porteno, a longtime guide, well-versed in the history and cultural norms of BA and Argentina, opinionated on many issues, spoke English impeccably and, by the way, very witty and enjoyable to talk with. In addition to visiting and/or discussing the many buildings in and around the Plaza de Mayo, we paraded thru the huge street market held each Sunday, visited some notable shops and learned much about the neighborhoods that we visited. All in all, the time we spent with Veronica was well worthwhile, and I would highly recommend her for any tour(s) in and around Buenos Aires. "

Fun and Delicious Food Tour
"Rosana is a top notch guide. She contacted me before the tour to confirm and give me her contact info. She was very friendly and had good knowledge of the area. As we walked she gave us history of the buildings and stories about living in Buenos Aires. We tried chorizo, pizza, empanadas, ice cream, pastries and sandwiches. At each stop, Rosana explained the foods as they relate to daily life as well as going out to eat. Our group included my father who was a bit slower walking and Rosana accommodated him and checked on him frequently as we toured the city. Overall I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Rosana. "

Amazing way to experience Buenos Aires
"Nico was a fantastic guide. Upon meeting he began the tour with a great Argentinian drink - mate. He explained how typical it would be to enjoy mate - and sure enough throughout the 3 hours we saw so many people drinking or selling mate. He then walked through different parts of Buenos Aires pointing out historical and current points of interest. And of course we got to eat food! We enjoyed sandwiches, pizza, empanadas, gelato and tea. At each stop Nico made sure to explain the background of each place we stopped and why he chose it to represent a typical Buenos Aires cuisine. All in all - Nico was an amazing, friendly guide and I would highly recommend. "

"This tour is a hidden gem! The food is amazing, and there is nothing like a local showing you around. I gained an immediate appreciation for the food and the culture. Nicolás is a phenomenal guide and he enhanced this tour greatly. I will be talking about this experience for years to come. "

Fun, chill, engaging
"Ines was a great ambassador of Argentina. Bright and polite, she walked us through the city’s gems, identifying points of interest and commenting on a few extra things we might look into on our own later on (a museum we might like or a wine bar that sounded fun). Like meeting an old friend in a destination city. I’ll use the service again. "

Rosana the Incredible Tour Guide
"We just did the Highlights & Hidden Gems of Buenos Aires with Rosana and we can’t say enough about what a great experience it was! We are only in Buenos Aires for under 48 hours and felt like we saw and did so much in this tour. We saw neighborhoods we probably wouldn’t have gone ourselves. Rosana even took us to La Boca which we didn’t even have on our radar and we got to see the famous stadium there. We saw the Pink House, the “Times Square” of Buenos Aires, Teatro Colón and many more places. She answered all of our questions with great insight and really gave a great flavor of Buenos Aires. Would highly recommend for everyone to book Rosana!!"

Amazing tour
"We had an amazing tour with Rosana. She patiently waited for us while we were stuck in traffic. Despite the pouring rain, she walked us through all the historical sites throughout Buenos Aires.
