"Lisa was a perfect host and made the food tour one of our absolut highlights in Gerogetown. She chose a great selection of different foods reaching from Indian to Malasian dishes, it was a tasty combination of savory and sweet dishes, as well as a great selection of drinks accompanying the food. But not only the food was amazing also the places we ate at contributed hugely to our experience, reaching from food stalls, restaurants, to a night market. We tried so many things and learned so much about food in Penang in such a short time. Last but not least, Lisa herself is such a lovely, interesting person. "Lisa took my two boys (14 and 11) on a wonderful tasting tour within Georgetown. She was very patient with the questions my kids sent her way (not all relevant) and catered to some of their tastes and requests as well. She was also very gracious and kind when I managed to dump tea all over myself and break a cup in the process. The tour was on foot but not at all strenuous even in Penang's heat. The tastings themselves were tasty and varied but, unlike many food tours, the boys and I weren't stuffed to the gills at the end of it. A very enjoyable evening and a great way to dive into the delish dishes Penang is known for. "
