He treated us to a sake tasting at the end to see how it compared to the sake we had a day before. The spot was SUPER local and I would have never found it by myself. Whilst we didn’t see any geisha on their day off, she provided us with the details for a geisha performance and also arranged for us to attend a tea ceremony. We enjoyed seeing some of the less crowded areas of Kyoto, and the kids had fun learning how to walk like ninjas. Her tour was accessible and leisurely paced - we took the stairs up to the temple, but there was a van available or a less steep path."

"Hiro was a fantastic guide! We happened to visit Nara during the biggest festival of the year. Hiro took us on a walking tour through the major sites, explained the history, and we also caught the parade. Nara has a charming, small town feel to it. Hiro was fantastic with my three kids and very accommodating, helping us store our luggage as we dropped in for a day trip.
