"Haq made our afternoon in Hiroshima great and gave us a great private tour. He was extremely flexible and accommodating and figured out ways to make it a great tour despite holiday closures.
He really made an effort to keep our daughter interested and engaged and overall added so much to the experience that we wouldn’t get just by walking around on our own. "

"We toured Hiroshima and Miyajima with Haq, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. He suggested that since we had come all that way, we should do both in one day and we’re so glad we did. It made for a full, meaningful day, and we learned so much along the way.
Haq was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful, sharing history, context, and personal insights that really brought each place to life. Beyond that, he was just great to be around easygoing, engaging, and happy to share his favourite experiences, local customs, and little details we never would have picked up on our own.

Our tour visited all of the important landmarks and memorials as well as a trip to the castle and gardens. We saw all of the sights on our list we had hoped to experience in Hiroshima.
As an added bonus when it was time for lunch he took us to an incredible okonomyaki restaurant that was absolutely delicious.
We chose Awais based upon prior reviews on the withlocals site and the reviews were on point. He has a PhD. in economics and speaks several languages fluently. He was able to easily explain all the important information to us. It was a great experience. We would highly recommend Awais as a tour guide.
