"Our tour guide was not available on the day, but sent another “Maria” in her place which was kind of her. Our Maria was an absolute delight from the moment we met her. We learned so much about the history of Verona, from the Romans to the families who influenced the culture and customs under various rulers and factions. Her manner was charming and made all the details more like “fun facts”. Would highly recommend this tour and if you’re fortunate enough to encounter “Maria” that will be a bonus. Starting at the dramatically beautiful north end of the lake, down to the more popular and picturesque southern villages.
