"Francesco (Frenk !) is the perfect guide! He is very flexible, we had booked the day before another tour, the guides have coordinated with each other, put together an individual tour and so we had with Frenk! the perfect complement. Besides his versatile knowledge he is very entertaining, we laughed a lot! On the way he pointed out to us very many hidden details, away from the guidebooks. In a prepared folder he showed us in between pictures from the past of the city, so that we were also allowed to travel into the past. Even after the tour, he sent us information about what else we can do in Verona, because the weather changed and we were looking for indoor alternatives. "It was the first Time for us in Verona and we had tickets for Nabucco in the evening. Days before the guided tour, we received confirming messages from Alessandro, which was very welcome and comforting as we then knew that everything would go to Plan. On the day we met Alessandro Right in front of our accomodation - Right on Time. During our tour we got a lot of detailed Information from a very Knowledgable Guide. We also stopped at several traditional Cafés, Restaurants, best Pizza Shops and best Gelati in town. Not only did we speak about the history of Verona and it’s architecture, but also about how it feels to Live in Verona today. Alessandro is well-known and has a good network, as we Met a number of his Friends during the tour. It was an intense and holístic experience and gave a lot of Inspiration for our own walks through Verona‘s rich history. Alessandro also organized ( and paíd, to our surprise - and of course, we paid him back, although he did. Not ask ) for Drinks and Food during the tour. Never would we have found the hidden places, recommended and explained by Alessandro. And with this Information we were able to have Dinner in the best Restaurants to our Taste and budget. Alessandro did Not repeat a once-and-for-all Tour, but adjusted the tour, information and conversation to our needs. We can fully recommend a tour through Verona guided by a very competent, friendly and Open Alessandro !"

"We made a last minute reservation with Izabela for a 2.5-hour walking tour of Verona. It was so much fun! Izabela provided interesting historical notes and showed us some cool off-the-beaten-path locations. She went above and beyond by providing some restaurant and general food tips. "This was our third tour with locals and have been very happy with each. Isabel’s picked us up and then took us to many locations throughout the Garda Lake and Volpolicelli area. Started with a wine tasting with one of the winery owners who is 6th generation family owners. Great information in casual setting with great tasting wines. Moved into Garda Lake where we made various sites for lunch and scenery . Isabella was very informative and attentive to what we were interested in seeing. Highly recommend booking a tour with Isabella and Tour with Locals you won’t be disappointed."

"Maria Pia had to change our tour time due to an unexpected traffic accident to a colleague. But she accommodated us with an earlier time. The colleague hopefully will make a full recovery. Maria Pia took account that we were a mixed aged group of 5 people from 80 to 11! So she made it interesting for the teenagers and the 11 year old and even the old cynic!! She took us to 3 different wineries, various sizes of producers with varied approaches to Valpolicella and Amarone.
