"We had such a good time on this tour.
Right from the first moments, Dubravka was an excellent host. She came to find us when we arrived at the wrong meeting point and from that moment on guided us through the history of split and the city itself. Never missing an opportunity to share an interesting point or relevant story. We were educated in the history of this beautiful city from the early tribes who came down to settle from the hills to the very real problems facing the people of the city today. We started tasting in the market and then went on to try everything from charcuterie boards to street food to beautiful traditional food eaten at Christmas! We took the opportunity to ask Dubravka for her advice about other things to do in Split and the area around it along with other restaurant recommendations and she gave generously of her time and her knowledge. We were absolutely stuffed at the end and didn’t need to eat a full meal again that day making the tour even better value. We would heartily recommend this tour and Dubravka as the host. This was our second time in Split and we wanted to do something different and learn something new and this tour certainly did that. Thanks, Dubravka. No more rubber ducks for us!"

"Dubravka is friendly, knowledgeable about the area and made my husband and I feel like we were walking around the city with a friend. The food choices were a wide selection of places from savory meats to sweet snacks. She was open to changes on foods to accommodate allergies or preferences. Highly recommend doing this tour in the beginning of your trip to learn the city a little and see a variety of places you may not know or try on a first or second visit to Split. Arrive hungry! "

Not only the foods that we were exposed to were excellent and with very local and long-standing family run operations, but the rich history that she was able to share was the best part.
Growing up and playing as a child in the very places that we were shown as part of the history of Split, she was able to provide an insight and knowledge that cannot be better.

Absolutely the best!!!
"I cannot recommend this tour enough! Darko was amazing knowing all the best spots. It was worth the cost for a private tour as he was able to cater it to our dietary preferences, and even arrange some unique experiences to make the most of our time. He also shared some brief history along the way giving us more than just a good tour. It was the best way to see the city and it was clear he had some great connections with the locals also giving us recommendations for the rest if our trip. It was an incredible experience and we are so grateful we did it!!"
