"I am so glad we booked an Amsterdam tour with Tommi!! My ten year old son & I spent a couple nights and one full day in Amsterdam before travelling to other parts of the Netherlands, and as opposed to trying to coordinate numerous site attractions on my own, I chose a personal walking tour with a friendly and expert guide, Tommi. I realize now this was the perfect choice! Immediately after booking, Tommi and I communicated about what I *thought* we might like to do, but I requested his help in planning the tour based on his own favorite and unique places in this beautiful & historic city. He did not disappoint! Tommi was so attentive to our requests, his communication was prompt and clear, and he even booked a visit to the replica VOC trading ship for us, which is great for kids and parents alike. The tour took to us to Centraal Station, on the metro and bus (which my son really enjoyed), the Dutch East India Trading company, some of the oldest streets & buildings in Amsterdam, Nieuwemarkt, the holocaust memorial - we stopped at times for authentic Dutch treats and Tommi seamlessly wove in the historical facts and details I was hoping for throughout our travels. This is just a smattering of what we saw; there were other hidden and and lesser-known places he showed us...far too much to list here. I need to emphasize how friendly and helpful Tommi was, before, during, and after our tour. He gave me pointers for the airport before we arrived, I had other questions related to getting around the city which he gladly answered, and he checked in with us after we left Amsterdam to make sure all was well. Tommi has become a true friend and he is a wonderful representative for Amsterdam! I highly recommend him if you want a special and informative Amsterdam experience in one day."

"We took a 4 hour tour. The first half was a walk around Amsterdam while Marten shared his vast knowledge of the history of the city and other interesting facts. Then he took us through the Van Gogh Museum. Marten had so many wonderful stories and facts about Van Gogh. "My wife and I booked a private tour with Anne. While we love the attractions in Amsterdam (Anne Frank, Van Gough, Rijksmuseum) our initial impression was that most of Amsterdam was crowded and touristy. Anne changed that feeling. She knows the place to see that aren't so crowded, some courtyards, university quads, quieter canal streets. It was really worth the time and the money to see the less well known areas. I don't think it's possible to find those places using a guidebook, even a good one! Also, Anne pointed us to the Portuguese Synagogue which was wonderful, and walked us by Our Lord in the Attic as less visited attractions to pursue later. Anne's English was excellent, and her delivery was geared to just two people, which we liked. (Some tour guides are always shouting whether two or twenty in the group). Anne messaged me ahead of the tour to be sure her tour was focused on what we wanted to see. Also, she met us at our hotel, which was near NewMarket Square. "
