"Before I visited Lisbon a friend told me to be sure to make time for the Gulbenkian and I am glad that I listened. It is an exceptional collection and visiting it with Antonio made it even better! He was so knowledgeable and his explanation of the history of the collection and the museum made the experience so much richer. I highly recommend Antonio!"

"My tour of this incredible museum was greatly enhanced by Antonio’s knowledge of Gulbenkian the man and his art collection. There is no substitute to having someone who lives near and grew up with the museum as your guide. Pleasant, personable and knowledgeable."

"Antonio was an excellent and knowledgeable guide for our tour around the Gulbenkian museum. Very willing to answer questions and we learnt so much on our tour. "

"The tour of Lisbon was absolutely outstanding. Carlos has a wealth of knowledge about history, art, music and literature and he connected between them to provide context and perspective for a very insightful tour...highly recommended!"

"Antonio gave us a treasured afternoon at the Gulbenkian Museum. Antonio shared with us his in depth knowledge and passion for the Gulbenkian Museum and Gardens, as well as his knowledge of Lisbon’s history. We learned the importance of art to Mr. Gulbenkian and his desire to share his collection. This is a must see museum with stunning works of art."

"Carlos is amazing, very kind and flexible with lots of knowledge and information from gardens to art to poetry to history to everything about Lisboa. We highly recommend him for general tours, or art or history guide, or Sintra. I cannot imagine a more complete expert and host. "

"Grab him if you can! He was fantastic. Gave us a lot of time to experience the Gulbenkian museum. He is knowledgeable and interesting. Bought our tickets in and treated us to coffee and custard at the end. The best part we made a friend! We were very happy with him. Carole and Rachel "

"Our tour was supposed to be a museum tour but it turned out that the museum was closed. Diolo, being the skilled tour guide and beatboxer that he is, thought quickly, improved and offered us options on what we could do as an alternative. He took us on a tour around Lisbon that gave us some of the old and new sights that showed us what makes Lisbon the vibrant city that it is. Occasionally displaying his hype beatboxing skills, Diolo’s love for Lisbon and exuberant energy made our detour one of a kind! He has a special mix of knowledge, humour, respect, and creative energy that made this detour a memorable one. Thank you Diolo! "
