"Six of us from Canada did this tour with Sonja on Sunday late afternoon/early evening. This is our first time in Mexico. Sonja was very flexible and accommodating when booking. Picked us up at our hotel and brought us back. She gave us a hx lesson OTW to PDC and, after parking, we walked to the marina where there were rain dance rituals being performed - very impressive. We experienced 5th Ave and enjoyed local chocolate (a true delicacy) and Tequila tasting (the pistachio flavour was awesome). From there we went to a local market - artisans and meals. There we experienced true Mexican food from local vendors. The food was very good and there was lots of it! Sonja is very knowledgeable, accommodating and kind. We highly recommend her for any tour you are considering in this area. "

"Sonja was great and very knowledgeable about Mayan culture, the food we tried, and the history of Playa Del Carmen. She took us to a local market over Easter that had unique food vendors making something local from home. We tried so many things and did not go hungry."

Whilst we were a little cautious on the hot sauces due to recent illness we certainly tried new foods we have not had since being in Mexico.
