We learned so much from Lucy about Kanazawa and its history and we are so grateful that Lucy was able to answer so many of our questions. It was clear to us that Lucy loves her City and she was so enthusiastic to share her knowledge and experiences with us. We also appreciated the great conversation with her as we were walking between spots and over lunch, and by the end of the day, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a new friend. "Lucy was a great guide for an 8 hour tour and our family of 5 (college and high school kids) had a great experience. She is from France originally and has lived here for 6 years and has an interesting perspective of what life is like and a very thorough understanding of history of the area. She is thoughtful and very intelligent and we really enjoyed her in-depth explanation of many aspects of the city: garden, geisha life, sumarai, castle, gold leaf craft, craft museum, ninja museum. Weather was rainy and cold but the 8 hours flew by since we were all very interested in what she showed us and this beautiful and interesting city"

"Yoji was an amazing guide for our first time in Kanazawa, his local region. He customized a full day driving tour for us for all the key sights we wanted to hit. He is super intelligent and personable, speaks amazing English (he studied for years in the US), and even provided us with great recommendations for the next stops on our trip. Yoji also helped us to make dinner reservations with restaurants by calling them for us. Also the curry place he took us for lunch was one of my favorite meals of the many exceptional ones we’ve had over the last two weeks. I could not recommend Yoji more!! :)"
