"Genny was everything we hoped for in a guide. She was so knowledgeable and personable. It felt more like a walking conversation with a friend that included so many interesting facts about the Gheto, the synagogue, the neighborhood, and Venice history. She put everything in context. Absolutely excellent! "

"Lucia Bondetti was an outstanding guide. Her subject matter expertise and explanations of historical and cultural context were highly impressive, and she could not have been more kind or helpful. We are so grateful that she was our tour guide!"

"Elena was amazing! Her knowledge of the history of the Jewish people in Venice was superb and she brought the past and present to light with her stories and her personal touch. We were all riveted the entire time. The best guide we could have hoped for (and we are discriminating)!!"

"We had the lovely Lucia show us around Venice. The kids, aged 9 & 11, put this as a top highlight of the trip. Lucia was passionate, knowledgable and kept the kids engaged in the 2.5hr tour. We adults also had fun and learnt a bit too. We added in the mask making activity at they end which they loved and allowed hubby and me to go have a appertivo sans kids - close by, which was also very nice. Highly recommend."

"Lucia was great telling us about the history of the Jewish ghetto and the synagogues . We got to tour 2 synagogues as well as go to an amazing artist's shop. She gave us a great recommendation for lunch. It was the first of 2 tours that day with Lucia and it was wonderful spending the day learning so much from her. "

"We had a fantastic experience with Lucia! She is an absolutely amazing tour guide who knew so much about the Jewish Ghetto. We could tell as she took us around the area how knowledgeable she was and how passionate and proud she was of this small but historic neighborhood. We learned so much and were very appreciative of the recommendations she gave us throughout our tour. Even though we are tourists, it felt very good to get a break from the loud bustling touristy areas of Venice, and getting a slower, quieter experience learning about the history that not everyone gets to see."
