"My family and I love Paolo! He is truly an expert on ancient Roman history and a compelling narrator. He communicated clearly and paid personal attention to every member of our group, making sure everyone was comfortable throughout a very hot summer day. Paulo was also very easy to work with to set up the tour and tailor it to our interests. He definitely earned our highest recommendation!"
"We had a wonderful tour with Pietro of the Pantheon. He did a great job knowing my daughters’ names and getting them engaged. We learned so much in a short amount of time. Definitely recommend! "
"Federico was very knowledgeable so we enjoyed our tour thoroughly! "
"We had a great time with Valentina, walking the Palatine Hill and the Forum. She is a mine of information and fun to spend time with."
"Federico is the consummate tour guide: very knowledgeable; flexible, and personable. We learned a lot during our two hours with Federico and had a lot of fun along the way.. We really appreciated his adaptability when we realized we had a conflict with our originallyscheduled time."
"Federico brought the roman empire to life on our tour of the Paladins hills. I strongly reccomend Federico for anyone interested in learning about the historical sites in Rome. Grazie Federico. "
"Eleonora is a very charming and knowledgeable guide. She paced our tour to suit my ability and took the time to ensure we took rest and water stops regularly due to the day in Rome being very hot. I would not hesitate to do another tour with her if I return to Rome. She was an integral part of creating a memorable day that will be with me for ever. Best Wishes Eleonora, keep smiling and doing a great job. "
"Loved Frederico! He taught us so much about Roman history and made it interesting! We so appreciated his explanations about the sites at Palatine Hill and the Roman forum. We liked that he answered our questions and was understanding of our need to pace ourselves. Thank you for making this such a great experience! "
"We booked two tours with Eleonora. Castel SantAngelo and the Forum/Palantine Hill. Eleonora provided excellent information , answered all our questions and most important, was a pleasure to be with. We will recommend her to everyone we know visiting Rome. 10+++"
"Pietro Paulo was an extremely knowledgeable and patient guide. He quickly understood our specific interests and requirements regarding our wish to understand the Roman forum from an historical perspective. He adapted the tour really well to our brief and our questions. We really liked the way he used images and diagrams to illustrate the archaeology. He is a very easy going and friendly person who brings the history of the ruins to life. We have no hesitation in recommending him as a guide."

The Palatine Hill, one of Rome's seven hills, is the oldest inhabited part of the city. According to Roman mythology, it's where Romulus founded Rome. Archaeological findings have uncovered huts dating back to the 9th century BC.
Palatine Hill was the neighborhood of emperors. Augustus built his palace here. The ruins of the Flavian Palace are visible today and reflect the grandeur of the Roman emperors.
The Roman Forum's origins trace back to a swamp drained for use as a marketplace and public space. It grew in importance as Rome evolved, becoming the beating heart of the city's political, religious, and social life.
The Vestal Virgins, priestesses of the goddess Vesta, played a crucial role in the Roman Forum. They maintained the sacred fire of Vesta, their temple being a prominent feature within the Forum ruins.
The Forum hosted numerous festivals, gladiator contests, and public executions. The triumphal arches, basilicas, and temples provide evidence of a vibrant public life that thrived for centuries.
Julius Caesar, one of history's most famous figures, is closely linked to the Forum. Several structures associated with him, including the Curia Julia where the Senate met, are key sights today.
