"Everything went as planned. We disembarked the Disney Fantasy at 8:00am in Livorno, and our driver was there with my name card to pick us up. He spoke English and apologized for the traffic, which was making us late for our tickets to the Leaning Tour. So, Lurica called and adjusted the time to a different route to avoid the traffic accident. Lurica speaks English so she facilitated the changes and we didn’t have to wait in line!!! It was a nice visit. Our driver picked us up at the drop-off at the agreed upon time and we made it back to the ship in time for lunch!! Thank you Lurica for adjusting the tour to our schedule and preferences. Ciao Bella!"

She made adjustments to our mobility needs easily and without fuss. She took us on a chronological history tour sharing interesting facts and sites going back through the ages. There was a wonderful balance of historical facts and anecdotes, all told with an infectious enthusiasm that drew you in wanting to know more. We finished our tour at the market where Francesca assisted us in finding a local eatery for lunch ensuring we were helped by the wait staff by speaking with them on our behalf (note to self - learn some Italian)! "Valentina provided my wife and me a wonderful introduction to Livorno. As a native of the Venezia neighborhood she knew the area intimately. In addition to explaining the evident buildings and monuments, she provided local insights such as pointing out the boats used in the inter-neighborhood annual boat races on the canals, introducing us to the priest at Chiesa di Santa Caterina who married her sister, arranging a deeper exploration of that church and introducing us to her former math tutor from high school and many others we ran across in the city. Our visit to the market was a treat, as was the seafood platter we enjoyed at one of the shops, along with a glass of Tuscan white wine that she brought from another vendor. Overall a wonderful three hours that we would enthusiastically recommend."

"Many tourists just move on past Livorno, but taking this tour with Lurica was very enjoyable. She knew so much local history and cultural history. She was very accommodating, kind and patient with our group of adults, 20 somethings, and our autistic teen. I would highly recommend this local tour. "
