"Our guide Derek did a lovely job of introducing us to the history of Galway. We learned about “murder holes” and the origins of words like “lynch” and “boycott.” Being on a small, personal tour with just my mum & her 4 daughters was perfect because my 85 year old mum walks pretty slow. Derek was able to pace the tour to our needs. We could always hear him easily because of the small group and he was open to all our questions. We really enjoyed the tour and talked about the things we learned all afternoon. "

"Spent a good portion of our day with Derek with a trip to Connemara area. The scenery was spectacular. Typically one thinks of Ireland as green fields and stonewalls. By getting out or Galway City we were able so see the mountains and lakes of this beautiful area. Derek had a solid plan for the day and was more than accommodating to our wishes. This was so much more that a bus with 50+ of your closest friends. One on one with a local who is excited and proud to show you his city and country is the way to go.
