"Kostas wasn’t just a guide — he was the spark that turned our Santorini outing into a full on adventure, keeping all nine of us involved from start to finish. From Oia to Fira to Megalochori, he somehow made each stop feel effortless and special. He even took us into an underground cave house still intact, with multiple rooms and no electricity. It was the kind of place you’d never find on your own. He wove history into stories, and he knew every photo angle so it looked like our group had Santorini entirely to ourselves. Our ages ranged from 11 to 84, and he kept every single one of us engaged, smiling, and having fun. And just when we thought the day was winding down, he made a quick stop at a local shop where we could buy Santorini wines at real local prices and not the inflated ones found at tourist towns of Oia or Fira. We’d book him again in a heartbeat."

"We cannot say enough good things about Aphrodite. From the very beginning, she was communicative, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. We weren’t entirely sure what we wanted to do—and honestly weren’t ready to plan until closer to the date—and she was very understanding of that. Since we were undecided, she curated a wonderful overview tour that took us all around the island, finishing with a delightful stop at a winery. She has a wealth of knowledge to share and is genuinely kind, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Aphrodite also offered helpful guidance, suggesting an earlier start to beat the crowds and clearly explaining the tendering and cable car process so we knew exactly what to expect. Our group included two seniors with some mobility challenges, and she thoughtfully adjusted the pace and activities to suit their needs, while still ensuring we experienced the best of the island. She also paid attention to the small details—like offering to hold our water bottles before taking photos—so everything felt polished and effortless. "It was tempting to remain on our terrace for 3 days with a fabulous view of the caldera in Imerovigli. I was so glad however that we had booked with Aphrodite to give us a different perspective of the island beyond the shopping and restaurants and perfect views. She understood that we wanted to learn about the history and culture of the island beyond the busy tourism industry and she delivered. Her suggestion on timing of our travels to get ahead of the cruise ship arrivals were excellent. She walked us down back streets of Oia away from the crowds, showing us examples of older architecture. And we were so pleased to have the opportunity to see the archeological work at Akrotiri that laid the foundation for an understanding of history we referred to throughout the rest of our travels in Greece. Perhaps one of the best decisions was a roadside stop at a small multi generational winery where we had the best tomato fritters and a Santorini salad with caper berry leaves! I can still taste them. Her flexibility, enthusiasm, humor and knowledge were all a perfect match for what we were looking for. Thank you Aphrodite for sharing your stories.
