"This was probably the best decision I could have made for our family trip to Athens! Evanthia is absolutely excellent! She brought history to life, she was very engaging, personable, funny, and an excellent entertainer! I loved the way she conducted our tour through the Acropolis and Museum! We had our two 18 year old children with us, and they absolutely loved it. She helped us all understand the connections between now and then as well as Greek Mythology and the reasoning behind these temples and sculptures! "The walking tour with Alexandros was one of the best tour during our trip to Athens. From the start, Alexandros was helpful in providing the logistics in securing the tickets to the slopes and museum. During the tour, he explained in great details of each point of significance along the path and stopped to allow time to refresh and take pictures. "Alex is an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced guide. He very cleverly took us through the history of the Acropolis with very helpful images of the Acropolis throughout time. The Acropolis museum is a masterpiece- and a beautiful introduction but it would be overwhelming without an expert guide. Alex gave us wonderful insights into how ancient Greek culture influences modern Athens and the rest of the world. We finished our tour at dusk when the soldiers lowered the Greek flag. There were not many people around and it absolutely beautiful. "

"Experience with John was most excellent!! Some talk on churches, architecture, archaeology, politics, food, and pop culture. Got to witness some of the protest marches for May 1st holiday which made the tour even more interesting. John was so friendly and easy to talk to. He shared some dining tips at the end of the tour and helped us get a great spot at the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square. Hopefully we will see him again in 2028. So glad we did this tour. "Alex gave us an amazing tour of the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum. Make no mistake about it, it’s quite a climb up the hill and we had some trepidation about it. But Alex paced us so there were plenty of chances to catch our breath as he talked about what we were seeing and all the history. Next thing we knew, we’d made it to the top. Amazing view and amazing history. So glad we did the trip, and even happier we did it with Alex- we really enjoyed our time with him!"

"Dionysus was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about the history and monuments but also peppered the tour with anecdotes and facts/trivia that made the information memorable. He was also very open about discussing present day Athens. He didn’t walk to fast or to slow. Definitely adapted to our pace. He even sent us recommendations for the neighborhood we are staying in and obviously listened to what we were interested in. Highly recommend."

She had interesting stories and was able to walk us through the crowds and point out the highlights without getting caught up in a slow crawl.
