"We had the best time with John exploring London. He was so easy to chat with and we felt as if we were walking around town with a friend. He was so knowledgeable, customized the tour to our liking and really just a fantastic guy all around. Do not hesitate to book John. We will for sure be connecting with him again when we are back over the pond! 😊"

"I arranged this tour for myself, my wife and a friend who was visiting London for the first time. John was an excellent guide who led us around the Westminster area, finishing at Buckingham Palace. The pace of the tour was comfortable and we had the benefit of some lovely afternoon sunshine. John was very flexible and accommodating and the tour was very interesting for my wife and I who know London well as well our guest from the US. Thanks John for a memorable afternoon."

"Taking on a tour a bunch of well travelled tourists is no easy task. John succeeded keeping us interested all along, coming up with interesting stories and figuring out a way to turn the intricacy of the Tudors saga into a cliffhanger Netflix series. "

"John turned out to be a wonderful guide and human. He was thoughtful, informed and open to any questions. We truly enjoyed our time with John. Looking forward to returning to London and would enjoy another tour. "

"We loved this tour from start to finish. Even though we hadn’t watched The Crown, John made the whole experience super engaging by focusing more on the real royal history, London landmarks, and fun behind-the-scenes stories. The references to the show were kept light and optional, which we really appreciated. John was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the city. We walked past iconic spots like Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and Downing Street while hearing fascinating stories we’d never heard before. It felt relaxed, personal, and perfectly paced - more like exploring the city with a very informed friend than being on a typical tour. If you want a mix of history, great storytelling, and a scenic walk through central London, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended, whether you're a fan of the series or not!"

"We had a fantastic experience with our guide John on a 'Royal' Tour of London! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the city’s history. The tour beautifully combined iconic landmarks with fascinating insights into the Tudors, including a wonderful stop at the National Portrait Gallery. John went above and beyond to personalize the itinerary to our interests, making the whole experience feel tailored and effortless. Communication before and during the tour was excellent, and he was exceptionally kind and accommodating throughout. My wife and I both agreed it was one of the highlights of our trip. We’ll definitely book with John again next time we’re in London. Highly recommended!"

"We had an absolutely fantastic experience touring central London with John. From the very start, his depth of knowledge about the city’s history, culture, and hidden stories brought each landmark to life in a way that felt both engaging and accessible. He answered every question we threw at him — from historical trivia to modern-day London life — with insight and enthusiasm. What impressed us most, though, was John’s flexibility and instinct for tailoring the tour to our interests. As he learned more about what fascinated us, he seamlessly adjusted the itinerary on the fly, guiding us to unique sites and experiences we never would have discovered on our own. It felt like a truly personalized journey through London, not just a standard tour. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, engaging, and adaptable guide who can make the city feel both familiar and brand-new, John is the one to book. Highly recommend!"

"John is a very knowledgeable and easy going tour guide, who gives an entertaining and informative tour of London with plenty of anecdotes from The Crown thrown in and more than a few hidden treats. We highly recommend him to anyone considering a tour of London!"

"The tour with John was very informative. John explained history, politics, and gave insights into society as well. I learned many new things and John drew my attention to details and facts I would never have noticed by myself. John was very responsive when planning the tour, and he adapted the tour to my needs. I can highly recommend John for anyone's tour, since he is always trying to get the tour suitable for any of his customers."
