"We took this Sherlock Holmes tour in London and honestly had a great time. It’s worth mentioning that this is not really a tour for hardcore fans expecting deep references to every story or highly detailed trivia. I’d say it’s better suited for casual readers or people who enjoy Sherlock Holmes and want to better understand the context in which the character was created, the era of Arthur Conan Doyle, and the mindset behind the stories.
The guide was excellent: very friendly, flexible, and clearly passionate about what he does. You can tell he knows the city and its history extremely well, which made the whole experience even better. During the walk, he took us to several interesting spots around London, including places outside the usual tourist route, which we really appreciated.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable, entertaining, and different kind of experience. If you’re interested in Sherlock Holmes and also want to discover another side of London, I would definitely recommend it."

More than we expected
"Although we signed up for a tour of London in the eyes of Sherlock Holmes, we were pleasantly surprised when he expanded the theme to be Victoriana and historical. He showed us hidden gems that we would not have known about otherwise. Anthony was able to answer all our questions as we walked. Would definitely recommend to others!"

Wonderful walk in London!
"We had such a great day with Matt. He even contacted me ahead of time to understand what we were seeing so we didn’t repeat anything with him.
He’s new to the tour guide world but you wouldn’t know it. He has lots of knowledge of the city’s history and the 1-2 questions I asked where he didn’t know the answer, he followed up with me the next day.
He made sure our 15 year old son was just as engaged in the tour and made sure to ask him questions along the way.
I would highly recommend Matt if you are considering a tour around London. He has a wealth of knowledge and is so easy to chat with. I didn’t even notice all the time that had gone by while on the tour!"
