"We had such a good time on this tour. Right from the first moments, Dubravka was an excellent host. She came to find us when we arrived at the wrong meeting point and from that moment on guided us through the history of split and the city itself. We were educated in the history of this beautiful city from the early tribes who came down to settle from the hills to the very real problems facing the people of the city today. We started tasting in the market and then went on to try everything from charcuterie boards to street food to beautiful traditional food eaten at Christmas! We took the opportunity to ask Dubravka for her advice about other things to do in Split and the area around it along with other restaurant recommendations and she gave generously of her time and her knowledge. We were absolutely stuffed at the end and didn’t need to eat a full meal again that day making the tour even better value. We would heartily recommend this tour and Dubravka as the host. "My wife and I with friends spent a great three hours with Maja around the old town. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, speaks great English. We were particularly interested in any Jewish history and Maja took us through the ghetto and to the synagogue. Overall a wonderful experience with a delightful guide. "
