"What a wonderful day! Barbara picked me up & it was like we had already known each other. Very easy to talk to about any number of subjects. As we drove to our first destination which was the Oyster Farm I knew the rest of the day would go well. Our next stop was wine tasting…amazing! Then to the Ston salt works. She wanted me to see her family home which was damaged during the Homeland War. Such a reminder of the horrible Ukrainian war going on today. Then we stopped at the Trsteno Arboretum. Barbara is an excellent driver on the windy roads with a comfortable car. All day with anyone can be a challenge but this was fabulous!"

"We made a wonderful visit to this beautiful farmhouse from 16th centery and had a homemade dinner and wine, all products from the farm. Nico was a great host and we where treated like special guests. Very friendly atmosphere and welcoming. Food was amazing. Nico picked us up in the city and drove us back. If you have the chance, dont hesitate to go there."

"Niko, our guide for the day, picked us up and drove us to his family’s small farm for a tour and an authentic meal cooked in a brick oven. The tour included eating fresh figs from the tree, a little brandy tasting and wine tasting. Great way to spend the afternoon in the countryside."

" Y husband and I had the best time with Niko. He shared his knowledge of the area and his multigenerational home. We toured his gardens and tasted fresh off the tree, and right out of the ground. They prepared a wonderful meal with ingredients from his garden. Everything was beyond expectation and beautifully done. "Niko is an incredible guide! He was quick to respond to questions and the actual tour exceeded all expectations. He picked me up at my hotel and took me to the family winery which was from the 16th century. Such a beautiful building and their gardens were massive. Dinner was a vegetable soup (ingredients from the garden), peka (meat and vegetables cooked in a wood burning oven on their patio) and a warm carob flour cake served with ice cream. Each course was paired beautifully with one of their family wines which were extraordinary. Niko is friendly and gracious and made me feel like family. Highly recommend!!"

"My parents and I had a lovely time visiting Niko’s farm and winery in the southern most part of Croatia. The 40 minute drive there in his comfortable car give us the opportunity to see a little more of the beautiful Croatian countryside, and Niko gave us a great deal of fascinating information about his country, his family and the winery during the trip. Once there, we enjoyed sampling several liquors made with the local produce and then feasted on a lunch that was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend the experience and wish that we had had longer to stay. "
