Instead of trying to see everything, she went in-depth on certain parts of the museum, and gave us some wonderful background and stories. Outstanding guide! A real find!
"I have had other guides in the past, both group and private, and Matilda is the best I have ever seen! She’s organized, extremely knowledgeable, with deep interest in museums and artifacts, and full of enthusiasm. She showed us the highlights of the museum without making it feel canned or something we would have seen on your own, so I walked away with a sense of having seen most of the museum, which I had t but if felt this way. I was with my teenage daughter who enjoyed it just as much. Matilda asked if we wanted to stop at anytime for a break which we didn’t and she made the 3 hours pass by so quickly with stories, interesting facts, analysis, and cross-referenced. She’s full of enthusiasm and her love of history and museums is contagious. "

"My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time with Rosa during our tour of the British Museum. She is funny, insightful, patient and clearly very knowledgable about the galleries and the significance of every piece. We were with her from 10:30a-2p and the only reason we had to stop was we had a train to catch. She offered to stay longer which we wish we could have done! Couldn't recommend more - the time with Rosa was worth every penny. We can't wait to come back to London, book another tour with her and see even more of the museum!"
