"Nesreen was fantastic. She was very open, friendly and knowledgeable and felt comfortable with her immediately. She made our Old Cairo walking tour interesting and enjoyable. We particularly liked how friendly and respectful she was with the locals, treating them all like old friends. She was also very kind and caring with us. My husband wasn't feeling well at one stage during the tour so she sat us down in a Cafe and went to a local pharmacy to get him some medicine. We were very grateful for this and felt very safe in her hands. She also stepped in to provide us assistance when we ran into some troubles trying to get to our meeting point at the beginning of the tour. We would highly recommend a tour with Nasreen. "Nasreen was an excellent guide. Picked us up at the Fairmont. Loads of energy and knowledge with wonderful tidbits of info. We went to a market and side street with largest house (150 gorgeous rooms!) and a mosque tour. Her knowledge of history made it so interesting. She took many photos of us which unfortunately we did not download fast enough (within the hour) so did not receive. Our last stop she bought us a wonderful array of pastries to sample. A delicious ending! "

"We met Nesreen for an 'Off the beaten track' tour. Nesreen was responsive on first communication and from there all ran smoothly. Upon request, Nesreen arranged a driver for the trip and she met us on schedule at the hotel. During the ride Nesreen shared her wealth of knowledge on Egypt and specific anecdotes to our queries and interests. I was a bit hesitant on being overwhelmed at the bazaar, however, it was everything but as Nesreen guided us effortlessly through the bazaar. "We spent about 7 hours with Ramses on our very first day in Giza, on which we had a custom tour tailored to our desire to see the Giza Plateau and the GEM on the same day. Ramses is a very knowledgeable Egyptologist and knows pretty much everything about all the dynasties and ancient Egypt. The full visit was packed with information and explanations that were a true pleasure. Ramses has very great communication skills as well as planning skills; thanks to his suggestions, we managed to enter the Khufu's Great Pyramid with virtually no tourists. There was a point where my girlfriend and I were the only two people at the sarcophagus chamber, and I learned that it was a quite rare experience in such a mainstream and important archaeological site. After the morning at the Giza Plateau, we headed to the Great Egyptian Museum, where Ramses made a great and detailed tour of the museum with lots of explanations and detailed stories. (The Tutankhamun wing was just amazing)... as Ramses put it, we felt like kids in a candy shop. Unfortunately, I had only one day available and I had to squeeze as much as possible, because it would have been amazing if I could have spent more time with Ramses and his very deep knowledge of the Egyptian culture. I absolutely recommend his guide, and if you have the chance to have more than one day with him, well, do it! It is just worthwhile. Thank you, Ramses, for the great time together.
