Take a look at our list of restaurant to eat while you are in Vietnam. Make sure you won`t miss dishes like Cao Lau, Banh Xeo or Canh Chua!

Rice, noodles, fresh vegetable and herbs, all play big roles in Vietnamese food, making it one of the healthiest cuisines in the world. Prepare to be surprised with the tastiest of dishes as most travelers say the original Vietnamese food has nothing to do with what they’ve eaten in their own countries.

Traditional food at May, Ho Chi Minh City

Located in a beautiful old house, this restaurant has a wide variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes. The restaurant only uses fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Two of their best dishes are pink duck breast with ginger nuoc mam (fish sauce) and the more classic fried tofu with lemongrass and chili. Can you say “delicious”?

Fine dining at The Deck Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City

If you are looking for a classy restaurant in HCMC, The Deck Saigon is a top dining choice for both travelers and locals looking for a treat. Enjoy a meal or a drink on its elegant and cozy outdoor wooden deck.

Have a wine at The Hill Station, Sapa

The Hill Station is a small café located on the Main Street in Sapa. The dishes here have influences from the Sapa region and are definitely worth a try. Get ready for a relaxing atmosphere to have a wine, hot chocolate or a meal with friends and family.

Cozy atmosphere at the Golden Lotus, Hoi An

Enjoy an authentic culinary experience in the cozy atmosphere of Golden Lotus. Delicious dishes, fresh ingredients, reasonable prices, you can find all of them in this restaurant!

European food with a Vietnamese twist at La Verticale, Hanoi

Situated in a narrow 1930s villa, the restaurant’s cuisine fuses French gastronomy with the ingredients and spices of Vietnamese cooking. The clam soup infused with lemongrass or Muscovy duck with foie gras inside a baguette offer original fusion combinations.

All-you-can-eat Vietnamese food at Ngon Villa, Hanoi

Ngon Villa is a good place where you can experience the different flavors from Vietnam`s regions. The all-you-can-eat menus are broad. Something to know beforehand - everything is served on demand, it`s not an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Spring Roll Cooking Class

One of the Best highlight of our Trip. I wanted to start taking cooking class in all the countries that I will go to and it so happen that HCM is the first one. And sure,I was not disappointed. It was an awesome experience. I would recommend our
friends to get this cooking class with Elise when visiting HCM. I will surely book another class when I visit again. Not only is your stomach full, you heart is also full. ☺️☺️☺️ Elise and her mom are the sweetest.

Saigon Street Food Tour: the 10 Tastings

Elise was great! We would have never tried the food we did on her tour. She is very knowledgeable, speaks very good English and can give some good tips. It was interesting to learn from her a bit more about the local culture. In the tour we had a good range of dishes - some were outstanding ( we are still craving the mixed green papaya salad), Vietnamese sandwich was the best we had in Vietnam. Very interesting to try the local eateries and really local dishes. Would highly recommend for anybody visiting Vietnam. Ask Elise for her advise on what specialties to bring home.
