Guides in Hanoi

One of the biggest benefits of hiring a local private guide in Hanoi is the chance to learn about the culture from an "insider". Your guide can explain to you their local customs and will give you an insight into their daily life.  They will tailor the experience to include local attractions and sights that you prefer to see instead of taking the usual tourist route.

Hiring a private guide in Hanoi will give a personalized touch to your individual travel experience and avoid the huge crowds of tourists. Although Hanoi is a relatively safe city, having a local guide at your side will give you an added security of knowing which path to take and having another person to explore the city means a little extra security.

With a Hanoi private guide by your side, you can get a local's perspective of this magical city and explore Hanoi at your own pace. Your knowledgeable guide will be more than happy to share interesting stories about the city, stories that you can never find on the pages of any travel guidebook.

We had an interesting trip to the ceramic village with an ever engaging guide in Lee. Walking thru the zig-zag lanes was fun too.

Tim Toan

Adventure day in Trang An & Mua caves

We decided to make a change to our itinerary and needed to change our tour date. Toan immediately switched for us, he was very responsive to any questions we had before the trip. The actual trip was amazing, it was amazing the views and having toan there to help give some of the history made it even better. When we took the boat ride Toan explained how most guides didnt join the boat tour and would put them on the shortest route to save time. That wasn't the case with this tour, Toan joined us giving us onsite along the way and picked the longest route which gave us an incredible 10 minute boat ride through a cave that you almost had to lay down in the kayak in order to not hit your head. Lunch was great and he ordered food catering to a vegetarian. Highly recomend to anyone visiting hanoi.

Farm tour & Cooking in Hanoi with local family

I went on the farm and Manh’s house with my sister in early october. I would recommend to go around that time it was in the autumn in hanoi and the weather was great. We started the trip by going to the market. Manh explained about the products they have there, which ones are of good quality and which ones other guests have taken to their home country. The market was surrounded by the farms.

Next we went to several farms on the way to Manh’s house including her own farms. It was mostly fresh herbs.

Manh’s house was not what i expected of a farmers house. It was really spacious. The kitchen was modern, a typical kitchen you find in modern vietnamese homes.

We cooked together, she was clear and a bit strict but also patient. The results were amazing. For the price, it was totally worth it and I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Thanks a lot Manh, hope to see you sometime!!
