Ankur Marina

Athens Evening Food Tour: 10 Tastings

I contacted Marina to arrange a custom tour of Athens on my arrival day to the city. Essentially, I wanted to blend an intro tour along with some street food and a wine tasting. Marina ended up planning exactly what I was hoping for!

Starting off in the center of the city, she gave me an overview of the central neighborhoods. Along the way, we stopped in a few places for traditional snacks and finished at a tasting she had arranged at a wine bar, where I was able to try 4 very different and wonderful Greek wines paired with cheeses and lamb prosciutto. I enjoyed the wine bar so much that I returned the following night for more! Marina also gave me a bunch of other suggestions for places and things to try during my time in Athens.

If you're really into food and wine, there cannot be a better guide in Athens than Marina! Thank you so much!

Magical 3 Days in the Merzouga Sahara Desert

My husband and I took the 3 Days in the Merzouga Sahara Desert trip with Abdul and had an amazing experience that we'll never forget. From the moment Abdul picked us up to the moment he dropped us back off, he was a gracious host and skillful driver. He shared his love and knowledge of his homeland with us as he drove us throughout the Sahara. The places he took us gave us a wonderful introduction to this fascinating place, and the camel trek into the desert and night's stay in a tent under the incredibly starry sky truely was magical.

The True Flavors of Porto: 10 Tastings

Helena was a great and gracious tour guide. She took us to many shops in town that we definitely would never have gone into on our own, which was our main hope for this food tour! She was amiable, funny, and easy to talk to. We both had a great time on our tour with her!
