Wine & Tapas Tour: A Gourmet Journey

Appropriate title could be "Should of Taken the Inquisition Tour Instead."
We have taken numerous food tours during our travels, and unfortunately this was one was very disappointing. Our tour guide was changed a week before we were to go. The whole "walking" tour took place within about 3 blocks. What was suppose to be the 3rd stop wasn't ready when we arrived, so we went to the 4th stop and then came back to this one. The tortilla tapas there was cold and not tasty. The croquettes were good. At the 3rd stop (which originally was to be the final stop) there were olives which were tasty and only sardine on bread...not so good. The first 2 stops were tasty and enjoyable, however, there really wasn't much discussion about tapas are their history, etc. All in All---disappointing.

Kickstart Tour of Madrid with a Local

Elena gave us a wonderful “Withlocals” tour on our first afternoon in Madrid. Her kickstart tour gave us a chance to see so many places. She brought us brochures along with many suggestions of what to do after we parted. We loved how she was bubbly, outgoing and always willing to stop for a photo. Her English was great too!
