Best of Madrid: Highlights & Hidden Gems

This was our first time trying withlocal out and it turned out to be great. We chose Edgard as our “guide” (more like a buddy who knows Madrid really well) and he didn’t disappoint us. The tour covered a lot of interesting places and had enough history content to keep us interested in how everything came to be in Modern day Madrid. We walked around, went to different places, from Castles to local tabernas and saw Madrid from the eyes of a local. Edgard kept giving us recommendations on what to try (places to go to, food, wines etc.) and armed with this information we chose the places we liked most and never felt like we ever went to a tourist trap. A really good part of traveling is knowing the local culture and people, and edgard helped us do exactly that. Of course, this is a 3 hour tour so we couldn’t possibly cover everything in detail, but it gave us enough options to explore in depth and enjoy our stay in Madrid.

Best of Madrid: Highlights & Hidden Gems

We spent last weekend in Madrid and on Saturday we had the pleasure of taking a city tour with Edgard. We had an awesome tour and learned so much about Madrid's history. What made it even better where the urban legends that he also told us. Edgard was great company and never did we feel rushed, it was a relaxed walk and so interesting. Anyone visiting Madrid soon: book a trip with Edgard, you won't regret it. Edgard, thanks for a wonderful morning in Madrid. All the best Hester and Pablo

Kickstart Tour of Madrid with a Local

My partner and I have been using walking tour guide's sevice for over 10 years but never have we had such an amazing tour guide. Very well prepared, systematical, professional on the one hand and kind, positive, and funny on the other. Full of good advice where to go and what to do. Will contact you via whatsapp beforehand and tailor the tour matching your preferences and interests. Will equip you with tourist map with interesting places drown, restaurants, local gems….After we had said good bye to her we followed her instructions about where to go/see/do/eat and felt that she really maximised our Madrid experience. Elena is a beautiful human being and we wish her a lot of private and professional success.
