Nisantasi has been a fashion capital of Istanbul’s shopping scene for a while, with its original market being for weddings. Nowadays, you can find a lot of cute boutiques that feature the original works of local designers. It’s also a great place to find unique and eye-catching jewelry, including works with precious metals and stones. The streets of boutiques are also dotted with some of the best coffee spots in the city. A customized trip with Alina
Alina was exactly the guide I was hoping for...very friendly and open, she understood my requests perfectly, especially the breakfast!!! It was very unfortunate the Sofia mosque was closed, I only had this time in Istanbul so this couldn't be helped...
I have recommended Alina to my colleagues still in Istanbul, I do hope they take advantage of her knowledge and energy...
Alternative Istanbul: Yeldeğirmeni & Street Art in Kadıköy
We had the best time with Alper on this amazing tour of part of the Asian side of the gorgeous Istanbul.
The street art, the graffiti, the fish market, the bakeries... it was all so good we lost track of time and distances we had walked.
Alper was very kind to meet us at the Galata tower and walk us through streets we hadn't seen yet. We then took the ferry to Kadıköy and wandered the beautiful narrow "sokaklar" full of gorgeous street art and building-high paintings. Alper was very knowledgeable and had so much interesting facts to tell. He even took us to a famous bakery for freshly baked Simit. We then continued our tour and had a delightful Boreg (stuffed puff pastry) and a Boza (summery drink).
We can't thank Alper enough, we had such a good time and would highly recommend this tour!
Private Day Trip to Princes' Islands
We had an amazing tour to Princes Island. Such a great first day in Istanbul. Alper is very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The island has lots of beautiful houses to look at and photograph as you're cycling past. The highlight of the day was our amazing lunch. We would never have found it by ourselves, so having a local to show us, and order us all some delicious food was great. A beautiful day with a great guide. Thanks Alper!
