Parque das Nações (Park of Nations) is a conglomerate of leisure activities all boiled into one general region of East Lisbon. Most of the area was conceived and constructed for the 1998 World Fair that took place from May to September in 1998. Now the area, totted as one of Europe’s largest redevelopment projects, is home to Vasco da Gama Shopping Mall, several restaurants, water gardens, viewing towers, and other attractions that will certainly dazzle your little ones.
They’ll also be stunned by life-size toy trains that are used to transport visitors to the main attractions. Your local guide will be more than happy to arrange a personalized tour of Parque das Nações. Definitely one of the best things to do in Lisbon with children!
