90 Minutes Kickstart Tour of Lisbon

Although the weather was really bad with lots of rain, strong winds and even thunderstorms Carlos made the best of it and still showed me around and informed me about Lisbon history.

Lisbon Food Tour: The 10 Tastings

Our family had a wonderful time with Rui on our tour! Despite the weather, Rui was awesome in showing us so many wonderful places in Lisbon and the food along the way was great. We had our two 11-year-olds with us, one who is in a vegetarian phase, and Rui did everything he could to accommodate us. Both kids enjoyed the tour and had tons of questions for Rui, all which he happily answered. We would highly recommend taking a tour with Rui!

Off the Beaten Track with a Local in Lisbon

We had a great time with Carlos as our guide through Lisbon. He could tell us a lot about the city and it's history. It was our first day in Lisbon so it was a great introduction for us. We really enjoyed the talks and the coffee with the pasteis de nata. Carlos took more than enough time to show us around and point out the best spots in the city. We said goodbye at one of his favorite restaurants where we enjoyed a lunch with Caldo Verde, olives, cheese and bread that he had recommended to us. Carlos is an excellent guide and we would recommend him to anyone!

After dinner head to Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré and take a bar crawl with a local. This is the best way to get to know the top and most lively bars and clubs when you’re new in town. It’s also one of our favorite things to do in Lisbon at night.

Your private guide will show you the natives’ most beloved places and give you the greatest local partying experience, as if you were born in Lisbon!

After your bar crawl, end the evening in a cool club and dance until morning. Lux Frágil, Incógnito, Dock’s Club and Europa are among the most fashionable Lisbon nightclubs.

But there’s still one last thing to do in Lisbon at night or longer in the morning: the party isn’t over before breakfast at A Marendeira, a typical Portuguese restaurants opened all night at Avenida 24 Julho.

This is one of the locals’ favorite spot to have something to eat before finally surrendering to sleep. Make sure to try the “Caldo Verde” (cabbage soup) and “pão com choriço” (bread with chorizo) and end the night in a delicious way.
