Festivals in Lisbon

Every year, Lisbon’s calendar is jam-packed with music festivals, cultural events, and various religious festivals. Most of the city’s main festivals are held during the summer, but music festivals, film-related events, and other festivities are also scattered throughout the year.

If you’re visiting Lisbon to attend one of these festivals, it’s always better to have a local guide lead you to the best bars with good music, and help you experience how locals party on the streets of Lisbon, and point you to the best spots around the city where you can watch awesome fireworks.

We went on a food tour with Silvia on our first afternoon in Lisbon and it was a great way to get to know the city both in terms of history and culture. Silvia was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and later give us some great tips on what to see and do during our stay. I could not rate her highly enough. Thanks again Silvia for everything.

Delicioso! Tasty Lisbon for Foodie Families

My husband, 7 year old daughter, father-in-law and I spent two days on tours with Silvia: a foodie tour in Lisbon and a day trip by car to Sintra. During the foodie tour, we had a lovely afternoon walking through Lisbon, hearing about the history of the city, and stopping strategically for amazing bites to eat. During the day trip, we saw Pena Palace, Quinta da Relgaleira, Cabo da Roca, stopped for lunch at a restaurant on the beach, and Cascais. It was simply incredible and she managed to help us see so much in just one day (this might not happen in peak season due to lines). If you could only choose one thing in Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira is stunning and magical. Silvia gave the best tours we have had out of dozens over the years. Book time with her without hesitation. She is simply wonderful. After two days, she feels like an old friend!
