Rome’s Favorite Food Tour: the 10 Tastings

Gabi is a hidden treasure in Rome. We tried fabulous local fare. My mouth is watering just thinking about Pizza at Forno! He gave us lots of local tips, helped us out with the metro, and answered all my dumb questions! “Are all these hanging meats real?” Ha ha! Request Gabi and you won’t be sorry!

Rome’s Favorite Food Tour: the 10 Tastings

.... by a mile.
The Food Walk with Yanira was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had visiting a major city.
Yanira was a very knowledgeable, charming, and entertaining tour guide. We enjoyed good company, awesome food, and a leisure stroll through the city center learning about aspects of Rome you otherwise wouldn’t hear about.
Just one hint: don’t eat before you go on the Walk. There’s plenty of delicious food waiting for you!

Rome’s Favorite Food Tour: the 10 Tastings

We were blown away by the food tour! Yanira took us through the city, discovering great food that we would hardly ever discovered or even tried by ourselves. The selection of the places she took us to was amazing, of great quality and relevance in Rome. Yanira was very knowledgeable on the food and its origins, she explained why everything was special, what was its history, and how each region in Italy contributed in making amazing dishes, you can tell right away that she knows what she is talking about. Not only we had amazing bites, but she also shared a lot of history of the city, complementing the tour in a very nice way that also highlighted her deep knowledge of Rome and Italy. She is extremely passionate and knowledgeable, easy going and easy to connect to, we would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Rome! Thank you Yanira!

  • Rome from above - Drink on a rooftop – Another of the great things to add on your list of what to do in Rome at night is seeing the city from above. Since we’re talking about drinking, how about doing that on a rooftop, where you can enjoy the views over the city and all its beautiful lights? Go to one of the best rooftop bars with you host and get the party started!
  • See the lights of the Vatican’s Saint Peter’s Church – The Saint Peter’s Church is a beautiful sight during day as well, but at night, you can see it even better with lights all around it and no crowds at all. You can take as many photos as you want to and relax right in front of it. Definitely a must on you what to see in Rome at night list.
