No list of markets in Florence is complete without a mention of the central San Lorenzo Market. This is the go-to Florence market for most visitors of the city, mainly because of its central location and huge variety of goods in offer. Mercato di San Lorenzo offers a wide enough range of leather goods, souvenirs and trinkets to satisfy any shopaholic out there, while also being the perfect Florence market for a leisurely afternoon stroll. Remember, you’re almost expected to haggle here so don’t rush to pay the price you’re first given! By the end of your trip, your local host will have taught you to haggle like a pro!

Tour of masterpieces & insights at the Uffizi!
Hi Dina was great guide, very knowledgeable and the kids loved her. It was good to have someone show us the highlights of the Uffizi otherwise we would have been lost without her.
Tour of Masterpieces & Insights at the Accademia Gallery
We booked two tours with Dina, but unfortunately on the day I was sick so my husband went along, and thoroughly enjoyed the tour, but Dina was so kind, offering to complete the tour the following day so that I could attend. We were actually going elsewhere the following day,,but we did meet for coffee on our last day.
Dina is an absolute sweetheart - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, great knowledge, passionate about Florence, and a lovely person too!
Play & Discover the Secrets of Florence with your Family
Elisabetta had thought very carefully about her content and presentation for our tour. She actively engaged our children in the tour and we learnt lots. We saw and learnt things about Florence that we otherwise would have missed. Best gelato shop at the end.
