Museums in Denpasar
The Bali Museum features Balinese art and history. It is located near the former royal palace of Denpasar, which was destroyed in a fire during the Dutch intervention in Bali in 1906. The museum is built in Balinese house style and there are four main buildings inside the museum. The specialization in each building: "Tabanan", for masks and Balinese music instruments, "Kaeangasem" for sculptures and paintings, "Bueleng" for textile and "Timur" for archaeological finds. The ideal spot to sniff up some culture!
