Havelske trziste a one of the permanent markets in Prague and is frequented by locals and tourists. There are a wide range of stalls selling everything from fruit and vegetables, flowers, to arts and crafts, wooden toys and ceramics. It can be a good place to buy a tourist souvenir. It can also be a useful idea to take along a local guide, as not everyone speaks English and the market tends to have “tourist” prices. If you have a local to haggle for you — all the better!
You’ll find Havelske trziste just off Melantrichova Street, which is one of the pedestrian routes linking the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. If you’re using the metro take Mustek, line A or B.
